Boat Museum board receives grant for new docks

The TIBM (Thousand Islands Boat Museum) sincerely thanks the Community Grants Committee and the Town of Gananoque for this fabulous $10,000 grant!

While the Museum’s funding is primarily from private donors, it has received significant support from the federal government. This is the first financial contribution by the Municipality. This type of leadership is essential to making the community vision a reality. The funds will help with planning, organization and logistics of two great events planned for the summer. Stay tuned for more details and come enjoy your waterfront! Funding for this type of Community Grant is derived from the Town’s Casino revenues earmarked to support events such as these.
