Boat Camp

BOAT CAMP

“…there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats”

– Kenneth Grahame, The Wind in the Willows’

Boat Camp is an unforgettable summer experience!  The one-week day camp will be offered 3 times during the month of August. Campers learn the basics of sailing, experience the thrill of riding in an antique speedboat, enjoy a triple-decker tour boat cruise, and explore the islands in the tug boat Little Toot.

They’ll learn important on-water skills, connect with the people and wildlife of the river community, and explore local culture. The emphasis is on fun, with lots of games and activities on land, on islands, in boats and on the water.

Most importantly, campers will make memories and friends to last a lifetime!
